FAQs

Are the medicines listed on the website the only medicines you can get?
A: No. we can source many more medicines.  As we get requests for different medicines, we add those.

Do I have to pay Find-A-Drug to try and find medicines?
A: No.  If you are interested in a particular medicine, we are happy to check with our suppliers at no risk to you.

Do you supply directly to patients?
A: No.  We are not a registered Pharmacy in any jurisdiction so can’t supply directly.

How do I receive the medicines?
A:  We will contact a Pharmacy we deal with in your country and arrange getting the medicines to them, they will then dispense according to local regulation and get in touch with you regarding delivery and payment.

How long before I get medicines I order?
A: Depending on the medicine and where we are sourcing it from delivery can be between 14 and 21 days.  It also depends on the local regulation where you are, how long it takes a package to clear customs.

Can I import the medicines myself?
A:  We can’t give you an answer to that without understanding the law as it applies where you live.  One of the reasons Find-A-Drug was started is because people were having medicines confiscated by customs authorities.  A couple of things to remember unless you are absolutely certain the people sending you the medicines are who they say they are you risk not only your money, but your health too.  If the medicine is confiscated in transit, it’s unlikely you will get a refund.

Can you suggest a treatment for me?
A: No.  We don’t diagnose or otherwise offer medical advice.  If you have questions about the suitability of a medicine you have been prescribed, talk to the prescriber.  If you have questions about the medicine’s side effects, warnings, or precautions talk to the Pharmacy that supplied it.  The Electronic Medicines Compendium is a reliable source for information about a range of medicines too.

How can you supply the medicines at such a competitive price?
A: There two ways we can help find you medicines so inexpensively.  Firstly, if we work with a generic manufacture who can supply the medicine we will source from them.  Secondly, if none of the generic manufacturers can supply, we check the pricing of the branded medication in a range of different countries and source from the least expensive.

Do you only supply medicines for cancer
A: No. We supply medicines for a wide variety of conditions.  If you can’t find the medicine you are looking for on one of our pages just get in touch and we’ll try and find it for you.
