Asciminib is used for adults with Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukaemia in the chronic phase, including people newly diagnosed in some countries.

It is also used when chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukaemia has already been treated with other tyrosine kinase inhibitors, or when the cancer has a T315I mutation.

Usual adult dose range: 40mg twice daily or 80 mg once daily for many chronic myeloid leukaemia regimens, and 200mg twice daily for disease with the T315I mutation.
