Ivosidenib is used for acute myeloid leukaemia with an IDH1 mutation, including newly diagnosed disease in people who cannot have intensive chemotherapy and disease that has come back or not responded.

It is also used for previously treated cholangiocarcinoma that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery and has an IDH1 mutation.

In some countries, it is used for relapsed or refractory myelodysplastic syndromes with an IDH1 mutation.

Usual adult dose: 500mg once daily, with adjustments if side effects or interacting medicines require a change.
