Temozolomide is used with radiotherapy and then on its own for newly diagnosed glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer.

It is also used for anaplastic astrocytoma or other glioma settings when the tumour has come back or worsened after earlier treatment.

Usual adult dose range: 75mg/m2 once daily during radiotherapy, then 150mg/m2 to 200mg/m2 once daily for 5 days of each 28-day cycle in many maintenance or recurrent brain tumour regimens.
